About the Library

Communal table.jpg

It all started in 2019, in a small room above my brother-in-law’s coffee shop. We’ve since moved into a bigger space – a cosy Showa-era apartment between Minoh and Makiochi – but the aim is still the same: to create a warm, welcoming place where adults and kids can learn English in a way that feels natural, practical and human.

What makes us a little different?
  • A calm, British English environment

  • A Cambridge and Eton-educated tutor (that’s me)

  • Personalised lessons built around your goals – whether for school, travel, work or everyday life

We use textbooks and cover grammar when it helps – but lessons always go further. They're about real communication and building the confidence to speak clearly, naturally and with purpose.

Feel free to get in touch – I’d be happy to chat and work out a plan that suits you.
